Black/Red Marble Centerpiece

This asymmetrical 18 inch wide bowl was carved from a block of a most unusual black and red splashed marble with white fossils embedded into the actual stone. The artist chose to leave one side of the stone unfinished to reveal its original rough texture. By contrast, she polished the remainder of the piece to a super smooth satin sheen. This remarkable creation can be the centerpiece at your next holiday gathering or a conversation piece anywhere in your home.
